Atlantic Watches – Swiss Craftsmanship Since 1888
A Legacy Forged in the Heart of Swiss Watchmaking
For over 136 years Atlantic has embodied the essence of Swiss horology — timeless elegance, mechanical mastery and an unwavering dedication to quality. Founded in 1888 in Bettlach, near Grenchen, by Eduard Kummer, a true pioneer of watchmaking, Atlantic’s story is deeply woven into the heritage of Swiss precision.
From Component Maker to Global Name
The brand’s origins as EKB (Eduard Kummer Bettlach) saw it supplying precision components to icons such as Longines and Certina. Yet Atlantic was destined for more. By the early 20th century, the brand had established itself as a name of distinction, introducing pioneering designs and technical breakthroughs. In 1932, Atlantic unveiled its first waterproof chronograph — redefining durability. In 1960, the revolutionary Speed Switch quick date-change mechanism further elevated its standing as an innovator.
Blending Tradition with Modernity
Through the decades, Atlantic has remained faithful to its founding principles — combining technical excellence with refined aesthetics. Each collection reflects this philosophy, from the iconic Worldmaster line to elegant dress pieces, versatile sports watches and exclusive manufacture creations. Every timepiece carries the Atlantic signature: clean design, precision engineering and enduring reliability.
Timepieces for Life’s Defining Moments
Atlantic watches are created not just to tell the time, but to share in life’s most meaningful experiences. Built from the finest materials and finished to the highest standards, each watch is designed to be worn, cherished and passed down. Whether at a formal celebration, a weekend escape or a milestone achievement, an Atlantic watch is both a statement of style and a testament to Swiss craftsmanship.
Driven by passion and powered by heritage, Atlantic creates timepieces that are more than instruments — they are lifelong companions. Time well spent. A legacy well worn.
