AEROWATCH

AEROWATCH

Our history

Founded in 1910 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Aerowatch was intended to be a symbol of modernity. The choice of an English name was already a sign of the company’s desire to expand abroad, and echoed the booming world of aviation. The family business came through the First World War with some difficulty.

The Crevoisier era

In 1942, Maxime Crevoisier took over the watchmaking business and moved to new premises in the town of Neuchâtel. The company specialized in the manufacture of pocket watches and pendants. After 46 years at the helm, Georges Crevoisier (Maxime’s son) takes a well-deserved retirement and hands over AEROWATCH to Denis Bolzli in 2001. In this way, the transition is seamless and the tradition continues.

The Bolzli family

In 2005, the company run by Denis Bolzli and his children presented its first collection of wristwatches inspired by vintage pocket watches. The emblematic “1942” model was born. Today, we are proud to have over 500 points of sale worldwide, including more than 120 in Switzerland. The company continues to grow successfully, offering quality watches at very competitive prices.

The Company today

The desire to make this fine mechanical product accessible to everyone at extremely competitive prices sets us apart from many competing brands. Attention to detail is an integral part of our approach to modern watchmaking, and an effective way of creating a clean, timeless style.

Ref. A 50981 AA25
For Swiss watch manufacturer AEROWATCH, skeleton watches are a key realm of expertise embodying
the worldwide reputation of the family business. The new “Wheel Skeleton” creation remains true to
the traditional art of skeletonising, while veering away from classic design to exude a sporty, technical
flair.
The result is a skeleton watch evoking the world of motor racing. This eye-catching wristwatch is aptly
named Wheel and through this model AEROWATCH once again demonstrates that the classic art of
skeletonization can also be interpreted through a sporty, modern approach.

The “Wheel Skeleton watch” provides a chance to focus attention on the admirable matt, skeletonised
hand-wound Unitas movement beating beneath the dial. In keeping with its name and appearance,
the rounded case featuring dot-type hour-markers merges seamlessly into the wheel of time, while its
43 mm diameter makes it a perfect fit on any wrist.

This well-balanced timepiece comes in satin-brushed stainless steel, embossed leather strap secured
by a folding clasp.

AEROWATCH – Chronolady 1942

Ref. A 81105 AA04 DIA
The Aerowatch Swiss family firm aims for the podium with glamorous new
interpretations of the famous Chronolady 1942. Each watch has its own season, which
the Jura-based watchmaker celebrates with models in matching colours.

The collection bears the unmistakable signature of hand craftsmanship, subtly
combining a keen sense of aesthetics with design.

Originally a sports watch, the Chronolady 1942 is transformed into a piece of jewellery. With
characteristic refinement, each mother-of-pearl dial reflects the colour of the hands and the
topstitched leather strap, undeniably evoking the spirit of the seasonThe dial’s iridescence in
no way eclipses the distinctive shimmer of the colours adorning the three counters and the 12
o’clock Arabic numerals, protected by the sapphire crystal dial. Creating a striking depth
effect, the domed hour-markers deserve a special mention. They are inspired by the shape of
the links on the ‘grains of rice’ metal bracelet, available in stainless steel or yellow gold-plated
steel.

The bezel set with 60 certified lab-grown diamonds makes the Chronolady 1942 a real piece of
jewellery in its own right, giving a luxurious finish to this elegantly sporty 36.00mm-diameter
watch equipped with an ETA quartz movement.

The gorgeous Chronolady 1942 is available exclusively from Aerowatch points of sale.
