Larcum Kendall was a celebrated English watchmaking pioneer, recognized in the 18th century for making the K1 marine chronometer, the first accurate timepiece to be successfully tested at sea by Captain James Cook, who, thanks to the accuracy of the K1, has been able to make the accurate charts that made England the most powerful naval empire ever.
The latest L.Kendall collection is inspired by K2 chronometer, popular to have overcome undamaged the Mutiny of the Bounty. The watch found its way back to England, still perfectly working, 70 years later.
The catalogue models combine the historical background of the brand with a modern yet vintage, luxurious look, created by the great designer Italo Fontana.”
